Coutts Bank appointed Harry Moore on the panel of judges for the 2006 Prize for Family Business. The much sought after awards seeked to identify the best managed small, medium and large family businesses in England & Wales.

The Coutts Prize for Family Business recognises the enormous contribution that family businesses make to the UK economy and sets out to reward the best of these businesses in a number of categories according to turnover.

Mark Evans, head of family business, Coutts & Co, commented: "Strong family businesses do not just happen by accident, they happen by design. The Coutts Prize for Family Business has been created to help family business owners learn from each other by seeking out and celebrating the very best in the field."

The glittering awards ceremony took place in June 2007. Prizes were awarded to Wates Group, BCMS Corporate & Active Assistance.
